SystmConnect at Whaddon Healthcare

From 8th September 2025, Whaddon Healthcare will be using a new system called SystmConnect for the following services:

  • Medical requests (e.g. New conditions, follow up appointments)
  • Admin requests (e.g. Fit notes, test results, letters)
  • Medication (prescription) queries and requests
  • Appointment requests
  • General enquiries

What is SystmConnect?

SystmConnect is the total triage and online consultation platform that enables effective online communication between Whaddon Healthcare and our patients.

Patients can navigate via our online gateway and submit requests directly into us. 

SystmConnect has been developed in line with NHS England’s Digital Pathways Framework, and fully meets the Framework requirements.

Benefits of SystmConnect

We have chosen to migrate to SystmConnect because:

  • The features collectively enhance the patient experience and streamline the healthcare process.
  • Patients can easily access healthcare services through a smartphone app, website, or phone call, enhancing patients’ ability to seek medical assistance.
  • The platform is designed to be straightforward and easy to navigate, allowing patients to submit requests without needing to remember multiple passwords. 
  • SystmConnect is integrated with NHS services, allowing for seamless interaction and efficient processing of patient requests. 
  • Patients receive replies via their preferred communication method

What happens to the queries I have previously submitted via AccuRx?

Previously submitted queries that were sent via Accurx will still be dealt with there is no need to resubmit the same query again or call the surgery.

From 6.30pm Friday 5th September you will not be able to submit admin online requests as we undergo the system update introducing improved request forms, we will be back online from 7am Monday 8th September.

Frequently Asked Questions - SystmConnect

When Can I Submit a Request?

Medical Requests: You can be submit between 8:00am and 6:30pm.

Admin Requests: You can submit admin requests 24/7. 

We will respond during core hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:30pm. From when you submit a query, we will respond within 48 hours from our next opening time. E.g. If you submit a query at 7pm on Monday, we will reply to you within 48 hours from 8am Tuesday (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).

In an emergency, always call 999.
